Assemble customer specific or prototype products using written work instructions, factory orders or other visual aids. The assembly in this position requires concentration and attention to detail. Assemblers will fabricate component parts using a variety of hand tools, simple power tools and test equipment. This person will be trained to perform most tasks. Good mechanical aptitude, hand eye dexterity and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is required. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks use common sense and communicate effectively. This position works with minimal supervision, must take the initiative to ask questions and be able explain what actions have been taken.
