| Combine Level & Temperature Sensing into a Single Assembly |
Control Your Processes and Increase Your Efficiencies One of the best ways to reduce the cost of any assembly is to eliminate one or more of its components entirely. That same logic applies to liquid level control and temperature measurement devices.
Typically, monitoring these two parameters in a vessel requires separate mounting holes and assemblies, but Madison Company can combine these functions into a single combination sensor. By incorporating a temperature sensor directly into a float switch stem, Madison’s MT Series provides you with a cost-effective, easy-to-install assembly that allows you to effectively control the process in your vessel. Temperature sensors (thermocouples, RTDs, bimetal switches and thermistors) can be combined with both stainless steel and polypropylene float switches. Careful consideration should be given to your response time and signal conditioning requirements. Madison’s experienced engineers are available to answer all of your questions and help design a combination sensing solution that is appropriate for your application. This unique level/temperature combination is ideal for vessels with sensitive heating elements that need to be protected from low liquid levels, as well as processes that rely on accurate temperature control. Some typical applications include:
