Single Point Liquid Level Float Switch – Compatible with most liquids.  Single Point Float Switches utilize floats that rise and fall with the liquid level and produce an electric signal output at one specific location within your liquid level range.  Available in a variety of stem and float material combinations to meet you exact liquid level measurement requirements.

Multi-point Liquid Level Float Switch – When more than one liquid level needs to be monitored across a liquid level range, Multi-point Float Switches utilize two or more floats on a single stem, set at the level locations specified by you.  Ideal for applications requiring Low or High Level Alarm or pump up / pump down functionality.  Available in a variety of stem and float material combinations to meet you exact liquid level measurement requirements.

Continuous Level Float Switches – Compatible with most liquids.  As the float rises or falls with your tank level, Continuous Level Float Switches provide an uninterrupted 4-20mA, 1-5VDC, or resistive signal output over the entire liquid level range.  This allows for real-time, accurate tank level measurement.

Liquid Level Switch & Temperature Sensor Combinations – Madison Company manufactures standard and custom Float Level Switches that incorporate Temperature Sensors, eliminating the need for multiple mountings and tank gauge penetrations.

Ultrasonic Sensors – These Ultrasonic Sensors are non-contact devices.  They do not come in contact with the liquid or solid they are detecting.  Ultrasonic Equipment may be used for continuous, multi-point, or single-point tank level monitoring.  They may be used in conjunction with all types of tank material, however, some additional application considerations may be necessary to select the appropriate model.  Please contact Madison Company for more information.  These tank level sensors have no moving parts.

Radar Level Sensor – Radar Level Sensors are non-contact devices, meaning that they do not come in contact with the liquid or solid.  Radar Sensors may be used for continuous, multi-point, or single-point tank level monitoring.  They are unaffected by steam, smoke, vapors, fumes, and vacuums and are available in Explosion-proof and non-Explosion-proof models.  As they “see through” certain materials such as plastic, Radar Level Sensors are typically used in metal tanks.  These tank level sensors have no moving parts.

Optical Level Switch – Optical Level Switch technology sends an electric signal output when a liquid comes in contact with the level switch face.  Liquids should be non-coating in nature.  This tank level switch technology has no moving parts.

Pressure Transducers – Pressure Transducers measure the pressure created by the amount of liquid above the transducer face and translates this to a continuous liquid level measurement by providing an uninterrupted 4-20mA or 1-5VDC signal output.  Fully submersible, Pressure Transducers may be used for depths up to 150 feet.  These tank level sensors have no moving parts.

Conductivity Liquid Level Sensor (single point and multiple point) – Conductivity Sensors may only be utilized in the tank level measurement of conductive liquids, or liquids that are able to carry an electrical current, such as ionized water (salt water) or liquid metals (mercury).  These tank level sensors are ideal for applications where moving parts are not desirable.
