Single-Level Refrigerant Recovery Switch

Madison Company's M5042 and M8042 models are 80% shut-off switches for all standard 30- and 50-pound D.O.T. approved recovery tanks. They are designed specifically to meet EPA directives for overfill protection of refrigerant recovery tanks.

Madison Company can provide customized switch designs to meet specific customer needs, including multiple floats, actuation points or termination styles. The Madison M and MT Series Specification Sheet should be used to define custom requirements.

Models M5042 and M8042 (model M8042 not shown) have wetted materials that are compatible with all commercially available refrigerants. Their PSIG rating is 300, which is standard for 30- and 50-pound D.O.T. refrigerant tanks.

There are no user-serviceable components, and the location of the float retaining rings must not be changed. If service or repair is required, call for a return authorization.
