Bilge/Bottle & Submersible Level Switches

Madison Company offers its newest universal design for level sensing in bilge and external tank applications. The M4182 Series is a standard liquid level switch product available in four housing material configurations. These Bilge/Bottle models allow for in-field replacement of the float switch, helping to ensure minimal down time in applications where they are used. The same highly reliable liquid level switch technology used in other Madison Company reed switch products is also used in the M4182.

This design supplements the M4147 bracket-mounted liquid level switch and the other submersible level switches referenced below, which have been long-standing solutions for bilge and sump applications. The M4182 family of designs can also be bracket mounted and encloses the float for purposes of minimizing the effect of turbulence and possible contamination of the float’s performance.

Madison Company can also provide application-specific designs for external tank and bilge applications.
