M3784 — The
choice for heavy-bodied or semi-solid liquids
Madison's
conductivity switches provide the same function
as our float-type switches, with the advantage
of no moving parts. Because these switches have
no moving parts, they can be used in many environments
that would cause a float switch to stick or not
operate
at all. Even in semi-solid conductive liquids like
food industry and industrial slurries, or heavy-bodied
liquids like waste water, operation of these switches
will not be interuppted.
Madison
supplies a basic controller with the M3784 that
will satisfy a
broad range of applications.
Because conductivity varies widely among liquids,
the controller is adjustable for sensitivity
in different liquids. Only an extremely small
amount
of current
is necessary for the unit to perform. As with
any device, a properly installed and grounded
system
poses no electrical hazard. Click here for detailed
