Madison Company has introduced a field-repairable continuous level switch for applications that require a sealed tank or situations where removal would normally be difficult. This unit is designed so that the entire stem and face mount can be permanently sealed to the vessel. Then, should replacement of the flexible sensor strip inside become necessary, the top mount can be unscrewed and the entire switch assembly removed without compromising the vessel's interior environment. This allows most repairs to be completed on-site.

With a stainless steel stem and fitting and a choice of either polypropylene or Buna-N floats, Madison's field-repairable liquid level switch can be used at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 105°C. Lengths from 12" to 96" standard; however, shorter and longer lengths can be readily engineered. Madison also offers several options with this unit, including temperature sensing and additional alarm levels.
